SE Ranking Data Available in Reportz

Naturally, the limitations of the API connection didn’t allow us to transfer all of the features of SE Ranking to our platform, but we made sure that you’ll have access to the most essential ones. Just like with the other integrations you can find in Reportz, the way this one works is not set in stone, and we can tweak it to some extent based on your suggestions and demands.

In order to connect your SE Ranking account to our reporting tool, you’ll need to go to the Sources page in Reportz app, and add your SE Ranking token, which you can only find if you have an Enterprise account with them. The next time you create or edit a dashboard, you’ll have the option of adding widgets with data from this source.

You’ll be asked to choose which site you want to observe, and which widget do you want to add (at the moment, you can only select “custom”).

In the next text box, you can select one of the competitors you are tracking, if you want to see their data in the widget, or leave the field empty if you want the data for your site instead. Regardless of what you decide, your next step is to choose which search engine and country you want to focus on. Just like with competitors, Reportz will only be able to show those you’ve already associated with the site you’re observing directly in SE Ranking.

The fact that you can track a site’s performance across a wide variety of search engines, while also being able to specify the country and differentiate between mobile and desktop rankings is an amazingly convenient feature of SE Ranking, but this kind of precision can be even more valuable in Reportz. Other integrated rank tracking tools may not offer the same maneuverability, preventing you from creating the exact widget you need.

The surgical precision this affords helps you not only compensate for the lack of flexibility of other tools, but also makes it possible to easily compare data provided by different sources as you can always adjust the SE Ranking widget to show data in the format that other utilities are limited to. Since keywords and ranking data can vary quite a bit depending on where it’s coming from, having this kind of a bird’s eye view can be immensely useful.

When it comes to the actual data you can show, you can currently view the following set of metrics – position, price, paid position and map position, but you’ll get current values if you chose to show them for particular keywords, and average values for the entire set of observed keywords, if you chose month or day as the primary dimension.
